I am always happy with the quality of the baking. Best pastry and cakes ever for an affordable price. Try traditional Polish doughnuts with rose jam filling. Yummy! If you like other European food and candies this is the place to visit.
-
I just go for their country bread. (10 loaves this time ) It's the closest thing to Helles Mischt Brot. I previously bought so much smoked mackerel that I had to learn to cold smoke myself. The cakes are to die for. I thank God I have no sweet tooth.
-
This place is small but amazing! Their sandwiches and pastries are delicious. They offer a variety of Polish foods and treats that may be hard to find.
-
Loved selection of sweets. All kind of cakes, rolls. Poppy seed rolls especially. Love fried donuts, lady at the counter called it p?czki (polish name), tried two versions one filled with mixed berry jelly and one with plum butter. Both awesome. Besides sweet and baked goods they carry some deli salami, sausages, pâté, cheese. Some european pickled products like mixed veggies salads, pickles etc. Great store.
-
Their rye bread is fantastic, also like to pickup some extra hot horseradish and kielbasa when I'm there as well

Great shop with many kinds of european foods...
-
Great variety of foods. Great to-go lunch specials. Pleasant and good service by charming people!
-
Good price for what you’re getting.Always fresh made from scratch and not too sweet, unlike you’re Publix or Kroger generic desserts. Plenty sweets to choose from and tons of little goodies to grab on the way. Highly recommend it!
-
Great bakery, full of delicious cakes!
-
Great products. True polish food
-
We got lunch combos today. The chicken salad sandwich was so good on soft rye bread. The combo includes a whole sandwich, a bag of chips, a delicious pickle, a bottled drink and a dessert. We chose an Eclair that was so big and so delicious! We will definitely do that again.
-
Great place for Polish products and sweets
-
The best variety of kielbasa around, and the best tasting! The rum balls are excellent, and so are the sweet cheese pastries that my aunt got us hooked on.
-
Great place to get authentic polish food.
-
So glad we found this place! We just moved to Georgia and were wondering, where we can find good polish food and sweets .... we have to travel for over an hour but is so worthy! This small place will not disappoint you ??
-
I love this place bakery and customer service it's very good with service people need to try pastry
-
Closest thing to my grandma Roses baking. I cried on the 1st taste
-
Very nice. If you are looking for authentic Polish food items this is the place. If you are just looking for a nice baked good this is also a good choice
-
This place has gotten better in terms of having a larger stock of items (especially before the holiday) the only thing that still prevents me from shopping more often are the proces. 13.99 for two pieces of sausage is just ridiculous. I might as well order directly from Andy's deli.
-
I tried two of their rum balls as well as the Napoleon pastry and I was absolutely blown away! The desserts were incredible and the cashier was so sweet! Definitely recommend coming to this hidden gem!!!
-
Outstanding sandwiches!
I love their food.
We always get pierogi from there. Yum -
Great tiny local Polish bakery. Some other authentic food is sold here. Loved it. Oh yes, fresh bread here is AWESOME.
-
Always have unique items if u are willing to try.
-
nice place to get some European food. Some items are pricey... I wish their store receipt would detail the items you purchased. You can only guess how much you paid for particular item. Other than that, it's great!
-
Great value for lunch! A sandwich on their made in house bread, chips, bottled drink and a choice of pastry for under $7. The sandwich was good and the sweet breads too. My son had the Napoleon pastry and loved it. Great find in the Lawrenceville area close to Gwinnett Medical hospital. No seating inside or out so plan accordingly.
-
My coworker is Polish and asked me if I was going to be celebrating Fat Tuesday with some paczkis. I was a bit embarrassed to admit I'd never had them before, but these Polish donuts are definitely worth a try.
Lawrenceville is quite a trek from Dunwoody, but I knew nothing would stop me from picking up what he claimed to be the best and most authentic. We stopped in after lunch and found the selection to still have quite a variety.
We picked out a few paczkis and a slice of Black Forest cake. The paczkis reminded me of a typical donut but not as sweet, which was refreshing. The Black Forest cake was moist but a bit disappointing, flavor wise. I definitely recommend the paczkis, though! Affordably priced and tasty! My favorite was the strawberries and cream!
There didn't look like there was much of a place to sit and eat - mostly just a to-go shop.
I didn't get a chance to peruse the rest of the grocery store, which looked to have a variety of Polish products. Next time I'm back in Lawrenceville!
-
Came here to try out the Pacski and was not disappointed! Both the Bavarian cream and raspberry fillings were tasty. I also tried a few other items such as the kolaczki(fruit filled cookies) which were delicious. Cool store to check out if you're curious about authentic polish food. The staff was also extremely friendly!

This is a fun place for Polish foods as as grocery or take out restaurant. The employees are very helpful and friendly and will guide you in the right direction to pick out food if you are not Polish. Awesome bakery. Bought a Lamb Cake for Easter (really hard to find) as well as all types of home made sausage. Highly recommend so go and enjoy.
-
We found this gem when we were frantically looking for Lamb Butter. I am happy that it is so close to our town. The pastries are Polish authentic and taste unbelievable. It has a small store of Polish imported food.
-
Came in today looking to try some paczki but learned they only sell on Saturdays! But I got 3 sweet breads one blueberry and 2 cream cheese! And it was only $1 So soft and good! The kind lady at the register was so nice and helpful too! She gave me samples of the rye bread. Will definitely be back to try the paczki.
-
Yummy polish food. Fresh bread and pasteries and reasonable prices!
-
Fantastic bakery with the best fresh baked breads and sweet rolls! Very good selection of sausage from Chicago. Love the wedding sausage.
-
If you like Polish Food... This place is great. I was told about this place by a friend. I love Pierogi so I loaded up the kids and we took a trip. Tiny Polish bakery and Grocery, did not disappoint. Everytime I am out by my moms, I make a point to stop by.
-
They have the best rye bread around. Everything else is awesome, too.
-
Love the place. One of the few true European stores left in Atl. Nice variety of products. Worth visit even if you just looking for something new to try
-
Great Store, carry paczki, pierogi, meats and many more Polish products. They ship packages to Poland via Sea
-
This is more than bakery. All your Polish delicacies are here.
-
Great service with down to earth people. They're real and the goods they sale are exquisitely crafted with effort. I recommend to any Polish natives and visitors along with people of all backgrounds.
-
Just found this gem of a deli. Been here two times in the last week and the food and staff are great. Oh did I mention I have to drive over 40 minutes to get here. It is worth it......Happy Thanksgiving!
-
So many delicious sausages, pickles, thick cut pickled herring, & so much more. Open thanksgiving day for 5 hours.
-
Love the cakes and European food. The store is small but has a lot of stuff, from European chocolate to meat you can find it all. Love, love the bread!
-
Small family owned store and the quality is amazing to the baked goods they sell.
-
Kishka and Pierogis...Im home!!!!
-
If your are Polish and live in the Atlanta Metro area... this is your go to spot for Polish products. Baked Goods, Imported Polish meats from Chicago... Polish spices, soups, drinks, candies/chocolat, and more! Between this store and Patak Meats your craving for authentic polish and european product should be more then satisfied.
-
I work right beside this little deli, and I'm always smelling their breads and cakes and such. I went in for the first time today and oh my goodness their pastrami sandwiches are amazing. They have great prices and a very nice crew that works their. I will definitely be going back more often.
-
Love it! Lots of delicious European food and treats. Hard to find otherwise in the GA area.
-
I buy your tiramisu in a small grocery called global foods in St. Louis and it is hands down the best. Will be recommending to all my
Friends and family. Thanks a million for making delicious cakes! Absolutely delightful every time. -
I drive over an hour just for this particular store. Here you will find pierogis, kielbasa and a variety of cold cuts that are not often found in most grocery stores. Dry goods imported from Poland. You won't be disappointed! The owner is so friendly, she treats you like family and the value is extraordinary!! And I get to polish up my POLISH. :-)
-
Best bread ever, if you enjoy traditional European taste this is not go place!!!
-
Good continental grocery shop. A bit expensive but if you need the product you pay for it. Cakes are yummy. Friendly people and excellent service. Recommended.
-
Kolacky are very good. Just need more filling.
-
They have delicious pierogis!!! Many different kinds. Not freshly made like we thought. They are frozen but a WAY BETTER quality hands down than a supermarkets Mrs. Ts. We'll be back for more despite the very long drive.
-
Had paczki and took home frozen pierogi - all delicious!
-
I found this little gem today and it is exactly what I have been looking for since I have moved to GA from MI. I have not been able to get a good paczki since leaving Detroit until today . They have a boat load of other Polish goodies as well and I will definitely be coming back. The staff was really nice and helpful as well. It's about an hour drive from me but it is worth it.
-
Favorite place and only wish they had a second store on the south side of Atlanta. *hint, hint* Understandably the prices are higher than what those of us are used to paying who were fortunate enough to have large Polish neighborhoods like Chicago, Buffalo or Detroit. However, the owners need to transport all of the goods from there. (My husband deals with cargo for a large corporation, and has talked about how much cost is involved, so I actually thought their prices were pretty reasonable.) Delicious and legit real deal p?czki!
-
I found this little gem today and couldn't be happier. I have been looking for a place to find a good paczki. I am from Detroit, MI where there are no shortage of polish places. I have been searching for a place like this for 4 years. It's about an hour drive for us but it's worth it. I will find here again. The staff is great as well.
-
We had a very nice visit at Grand Polish Bakery. Staff was friendly, food was delicious and fresh. Authentic Polish foods. We will return in future.
-
I just bought my first sandwich from here. Pastrami. I will be purchasing another tomorrow. A combo is under $7 and comes with drink and chips (of course) as well as a beautiful, delicious slice of cake. They have a wide variety of pirogis and dumplings, as well as polish sausages and that polish ingredient you just can't seem to find anywhere else. If you haven't tried this place already, you're not doing yourself any favors!
-
Shopped there today. Great people and great food. Sandwiches made fresh for the office were very good. Lots of selection for Polish food. Will go back again!
-
The best Paczki and poppy seed cakes I've ever had!!
-
The only place in Atlanta to buy fresh poppy seed rolls, donuts all year long, and some Polish made delicacies like "bird's milk". Staff is classy nice and bilingual. Too bad it is a long trip away from my house, but once I get there it is easy to find.
-
Loved everything we bought. Perogi, Krakow kapusta, Polish dills, bakery was delicious.
-
The BEST European Bakery I've ever been to!!!!!!! Very friendly staff and everything is always so fresh!
-
Amazing staff and best place to buy polish goods! The food is always fresh and delicious!

I wonder why no one's reviewed this place yet, or even added it. It's awesome! It's a Polish deli/bakery/market at the left end of a tiny strip that contains a swimming pool store and a Subway. When you walk in, the left side of the store is where you order your food and gaze upon a glass case of decadent little cake squares that come in several different varieties. There's another glass case with some cookies which look lovely as well. The rest of the store is a small market full of Polish items (and probably other ethnic items, but seeing as I could not read them, I can't be 100% sure). It also has a couple of freezers, one with different kinds of pierogi, another filled with meats, like sausages. In the middle of those, you have your drink case where you grab your drink. There are a few tables to sit at in the middle of the store.
Pros:
-Nice girl at the counter - she made sure she got my order right.
-I got the sandwich combo with a roast beef sandwich, chips, a small bread and butter pickle (I hate those but that's just me), a drink, AND one of those decadent little cakes, all for around $7. Can you say awesome deal??
-Sandwich was delicious, and the cake was amazing (I got the strawberry one, ughh so good).
-If you like little ethnic stores like I do, this place is for you.
-Also a bakery, so they make their own breads and desserts. Awesome!Cons:
-The food took a little long to come out, but it was well worth the wait. I could tell she took the time to prepare my sandwich. And you can always shop around while you wait.
-The crust on the bread was too hard to eat, for me anyway. I had to eat around it.
-The drink cooler has drinks like Coke and Sprite and such, and also has ethnic drinks. I tried a Kofola, which is like the Czeck Republic/Slovakian rival to Coke and Pepsi. It tasted odd and flat - when I later checked the sell by date, it was passed that. So check that date when you get your drink. :(
-Sitting down to eat in the store felt a little awkward for some reason. Maybe because the store is so small, so it feels like I'm eating in a grocery isle? (You can get it to go, of course.)
-Limited selection of chips.(also I wouldn't bother with their website, it hasn't been completely set up yet.)
All in all, would definitely to back again, but I would get a different drink and get my order to go. In fact, I think I just decided what I'm getting for lunch :D
-
They have some of the best (and cheapest!) cakes. I purchased black forest cake, tiramisu and two cream rolls (can't remember the name right now) and they were all delicious.
-
Love the pastries. My only issues is the older staff are rude. I walked out once because the older lady would not even help us.
The younger ladies are great and very helpful. -
This place is great. Their cakes and pastries are so delicious! I recommend the black forest cake, yum! The staff here is super friendly and welcoming. Maggie is my favorite, she always makes sure you get the best customer service possible. Lots of great Polish and Czech foods to try. Check it out, you won't regret it.
-
Pastries are amazing, lunch specials are tasty and affordable. Also, the girl at the register is so helpful & kinda cute too!! The store section has a wide variety of European products including various kinds of chocolate. Not only that but they also ship packages to some European countries for very affordable prices! Overall, I would recommend this Polish bakery to anyone looking to go out of their comfort zone & try something new!

I've never been here - but just had to come over to write a review after scarfing down a cheese danish from here.
Apparently Patak Meat Market sells some of their baked goods around the first of the month and holidays.
I don't even like cheese Danish - but ventured out to Patak's Meat Market to get a Sunday roast and a some breakfast sausage and coldcuts. And thanks to hormones - I needed red meat and something sweet - my ladies know what I'm talking about - I was in the mood for some sort of sugary goodness or pastry - so figured I would eat around the cream cheese. Instead - I wound up scarfing down the entire thing before I made it out of the parking lot.
I actually called back to find out who vendor name and they happily told me.
One word: Yum!
Lawrenceville: Argh.
All I can say is I feel a fight coming on - when when my booski refuses to drive over to Lawrenceville to satisfy my craving for cheese Danish.

We recently moved to Georgia from Buffalo, NY and have been searching for someplace to buy good Polish food like back home. We found the place- the Grand Bakery! Their rye bread & other desserts are just so delicious as well as the wonderful Chrusciki. They also have a great selection of many other Polish food items. We also bought our polish sausage (fresh and smoked) and pierogi for the upcoming holidays! It's definitely worth our drive from Cumming, GA. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to satisfy their Polish food cravings! The staff is very helpful & friendly and make you feel right at home.

Time to update my review on this joint.
I've been visiting the cafe for almost a year!
Though there are multiple times I didn't even check in..I go here around 10AM to get their sweet rolls now that I started packing my lunch.
They have *again* excellent sweet breads that you must try.Blueberry, cheese and poppy seeds are among my favorites.
-
This place is awesome. David runs a fantastic shop, and his employees appear genuinely happy to be there. Their freshly baked from scratch daily offerings are sure to please everyone! Recommend!!
-
My mom is from Pittsburgh and my dad is from New York, so we grew up on polish food. When we moved to Georgia, we no longer could get good Polish food, but now we can! Fresh kielbasa at last!!!
-
I enjoy coming here for their fresh bread and sandwiches. I think this is a family owned and operated place. They are always so friendly, especially the sweet young lady that helps out weekdays during lunch. I work close to this place and stop in here occasionally to order a sandwich combo which includes chips, drink, and dessert! I like their chicken salad sandwich the best. :)
-
LOVE this place!! They have so much authentic food and the baked goods are AMAZING!!
We come every holiday and sometimes just because we are craving a favorite you cannot find anywhere else!
Even if you're not from 'over the pond' you have to try anything from the bakery!!
-
What an awesome spot out here in the suburbs! Authentic polish/Eastern European market with delicious bakery items!
-
People are super friendly and have everything I was looking for. They make an awesome sandwich and you get a dessert with the lunch combo!
-
What a nice little find!
I was looking for a sandwich for lunch and hadn't been to subway in years. Fortunately right next door to Subway was the Grand Polish Bakery and Deli, which was slammed with traffic. I had to check it out!
The first thing you'll notice is this isn't a restaurant. It's first and foremost a bakery/deli/grocery store, so there are no seats or tables inside or outside. Don't let this stop you from coming in.
Their bakery and cakes are displayed, all look delicious and are made fresh. There's also meals you can buy, and after checking the menu, I got their Turkey sandwich combo ($6.59). The fact that you get a full sandwich, chips, drink of your choice AND your choice of dessert for under 7 bucks is already worth 3.5 stars, but what about the flavors?
Well, the sandwich, which comes with mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and a full sweet pickle, was delicious! I loved the fresh bread and just alone the sandwich was filling. I had a generic bag of chips (you don't get to select your chips). You DO get to select your beverage from one of the coolers in the back.
What's holding Grand Polish Bakery and Deli back from 5 stars for me was their dessert. I asked for what was their best seller, and they suggested the napoleon. It was beautiful in presentation, and really a slice with a heft and size that you might expect them to charge double for (don't tell them that!). Here's the problem...while it was fresh, and sweet, the flavors were simply "okay" to me, and I much preferred the sandwich to the Napoleon.
Located in the tiny strip that contains subway just before the intersection of Pike street and old norcross road, parking is limited here, and in fact I had to park in the rear. There's a couple of exits, one being a red light, but getting out isn't bad.
Customer service was great, quick and friendly, and I 100% want to give 5 stars, but I can't...yet! All it takes is another pastry selection to add that fifth star, but in the meantime, do check out this hidden in plain site gem of a place to grab a really flavorful and REALLY good deal!
-
Love the Country Style /Garlic Smoked Sausage, Nut Rolls, Bratmakerelen filets, etc, etc. Do you take internet orders? I now live in Palm Coast, Fl. Please let me know if you take Internet or phone orders and what is your limit I have to spend to ship to Florida

Cozy place with lots of meats, treats, and baked goods!
-
They have everything from the Mother country. It's fresh, it's delicious and very helpful staff.
-
The only place in Atlanta to buy poppyseed rolls, bird's milk, and other unique delicacies.
-
This is a wonderful polish and European bakery/store. They carry polish bread, pastries, frozen pierogi, smoked fish, ham, bacon, salami, canned goods, pickled goods, drinks, candy, snacks, etc. The staff is super nice and helpful. The store looks small from the outside, but it's packed with goodies. During the weekdays they sell lunch which includes polish piergois and sandwiches. The store is located in a small shopping plaza next to subway.
-
Wonderful selection of Polish food! Recieved a free cake since I spent over $100, very nice. Will definately be back even though I live in Warner Robins, GA. Very freindly and great service!
